New grants/funding

Kerri Viney has been appointed as a CI for a systematic review on tuberculosis and disability from the World Health Organization’s regional office for the Western Pacific. She has received funding of $48.8k AUD for this.

Awards

Rhiannon Wallace won two ECR travel grants to attend the Campylobacter, Helicobacter and Related Organisms conference in Belfast, UK September 8-11. These are the ANU ECR Travel Grant ($3,000) and the NCEPH ECR Travel Award ($2,000).

Outreach and Engagement

Meru Sheel presented at a ‘Science in the Pub’-type event during National Science Week on infectious disease epidemiology.
