Associate Professor Margaret Allman-Farinelli

Associate Professor Allman-Farinelli has 30 years experience as a member of the dietetic profession. She is currently director of three training programs at the University of Sydney, producing nutrition and dietetic professionals to work in the hospital, primary care and community and public health sectors. She is also Vice President on the Board of Directors of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) and on editorial boards of international and national nutrition and medical journals. Her current research interests include the development of the evidence-base for medical nutrition therapy for obesity and chronic disease prevention and management and models of care and rationalisation of dietetic practice in the hospital, primary care and community setting.
