Alexandra Hogan

BSc(Hons I)(Applied Maths)
PhD Student

Alexandra will be developing and analysing mathematical models for Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) which causes lower respiratory tract infections in young children. Her research aims to better understand the transmission dynamics of RSV, particularly its seasonal behaviour, and hopefully inform the rollout of a vaccine for RSV that is currently undergoing phase two trials. Supervisors Dr Katie Glass Dr Stephanie Davis Dr Hannah Moore (Telethon Kids Institute and University of Western Australia)
