Biography

PhD Candidate Mary Lorraine Mationg is from the Research Institute of Tropical Medicine (RITM) in the Philippines and joins the school and the Department of Global Health to undertake a PhD on the Magic Glasses Philippines project. She has completed her BSc in Public Health and MS in Epidemiology. Prior to commencing her PhD, she has previously worked as Supervising Science Research Specialist at RITM. She has also been involved as data manager in the conduct of the Philippines National Prevalence Survey for Soil-transmitted Helminths and Schistosomiasis; HIV/AIDS surveillance; and has done research on tuberculosis and malaria in the Philippines.
