Biography

Kimberly Ashby-Mitchell (MSc. Nutrition; BSc. Nutrition and Dietetics)

Kimberly is an international student at the Centre for Research on Ageing, Health and Wellbeing. Her thesis compares the relationship of diet and physical activity on cognitive status in Australia and seven Latin American and Caribbean countries.

She has been an active member of the ANU Postgraduate and Research Students’ Association (PARSA) for the past two years serving as College Representative CMBE (2013) and Communications Officer (2013-2014). 

Kimberly’s research interests centre on nutrition and health disease outcomes throughout the lifecourse, health and wellness, health education and promotion, community health and health communication.
