Keynote and invited presentations

In late January, Gabriele Bammer gave an online keynote address at the face-to-face and online graduation ceremony for participants in the course “Interdisciplinary Research Excellence” in Cairo Egypt, which was attended by three government ministers.

Outreach and engagement

In early December, Gabriele Bammer delivered the final (of six) online workshops for the “Interdisciplinary Research Excellence” course that she is teaching in Egypt.

Gabriele Bammer is fulfilling the role of interim secretariat for NITRO-Oceania (Network of Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Research Organisations – Oceania). This is a group of almost 50 leaders, which she had a major role in founding. Its mission is representing, promoting and supporting interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research in the Oceania region. She convenes and chairs meetings of the executive, updates the website especially with activities of the working groups, keeps members informed, recruits new members and organises the seminar program.
