Biography

Scott is a Research Fellow in the Lived Experience Research Unit at the Centre for Mental Health Research. He is an investigator for the “Co-creating Safe Spaces’ project that will assess the effectiveness of non-clinical alternatives to emergency departments and hospital-based care for people experiencing suicidal crisis or distress. His research interests are the social and political determinants of mental health and suicide; mental health systems and policy; lived experience; and rural health.
