I studied my BSc in Nursing at Jimma University,  MSc in advanced pediatrics, and Child Health Nursing at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. 

I have served at Bahir Dar University, College of Medicine and Health Sciences in the position of full-time academic as lecturer and researcher. 

My PhD study will focus on the Epidemiology of chronic diseases and ageing that will investigate the impact of ageing, healthcare-seeking behavior, and health disparity on the healthy ageing of the population as well as assessing the spatial pattern of morbidity and ageing.
