Cardiovascular risk mapping in the Netherlands and Australia: a comparative analysis

Dr Nasser Bagheri will spend three months in The Netherlands exploring Cardiovascular risk mapping in Netherlands and Australia: a comparative analysis. This project aims to identify ‘risk hot spots’ for preventable cardiovascular diseases (CVD) that will predict their likely development over time. This will allow interventions to be targeted to the right place, at the right time, to the right people. It will provide an innovative tool to help address the alarming rise of CVD in the Australian community.
