Speakers

Sonia Johnson

Sonia is Professor of Social and Community Psychiatry in the Division of Psychiatry at University College London. She has published research on a range of topics relevant to the care of people with severe mental health problems, including crisis care, early intervention in psychosis, women's mental health and digital mental health.

Sonia is currently Director of the NIHR Mental Health Policy Research Unit for England, which conducts rapid research to inform mental health policy.

Hugh Mackay AO

Hugh is a social psychologist, researcher and bestselling author. His latest non-fiction book, The Inner Self, will be published in 2020 concurrently with his eighth novel, The Question of Love.

Hugh has had a 60-year career in social research and was a weekly newspaper columnist for over 25 years.
