Biography

I am a PhD candidate at the Centre for Public Health Data and Policy (CPHDP). My research will focus on electronic cigarettes among youth and adolescents in Australia under the supervision of Professor Emily Banks.

In addition to my PhD candidateship, I will continue to work as a research assistant at CPHDP. Since beginning my research career at CPHDP in 2019, I have had the opportunity to be involved in projects on CVD microsimulations and health outcomes of cancer survivors, however, the majority of my research has been centred on electronic cigarettes.

I have also previously worked as a research assistant at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health (previously the Research School of Population Health) and been involved in a variety of projects including research on paid parental leave, older workers health, alternate work schedules and the social determinants of health.

I have a Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health (Advanced) both from ANU. My Masters dissertation investigated the health consequences of combining work and study in university students.
