Tilda Thomson

Biography

Tilda is a Master of Applied Epidemiology (MAE) scholar in the 2022-23 cohort, undertaking a placement at the Victorian Department of Health in the Communicable Disease and Environmental Health sections.

Prior to undertaking the MAE, Tilda worked in the antimicrobial resistance and microbial genomics team at the Department of Health. She has a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science, and previous research experience at Turning Point and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. Her areas of interest include communicable disease epidemiology, planetary health and using a OneHealth approach to address public health issues.
