Community understanding, attitudes, and practices in Australia

COVID-19 has been dominating the news for weeks, and with good reason. But how do you know the information you are receiving comes from a reliable and up-to-date source? 

Australia is acting to slow the spread of the outbreak through cooperation with the community on various business and behavioral changes. Inconsistent media information and different approaches adopted by the States and Territories, however, appear to be contributing to uncertainty on how to act. 

We want to find out about your understanding, attitudes and practices relating to COVID-19, and invite you to participate in our online survey.   

By participating in this survey, you will help us identify the media sources most frequently used to access information on COVID-19, and what changes you have made to your daily life. This information can be used by the Australian Department of Health and other agencies to correct misinformation, target more effective public news information, risk communication messaging aimed at reducing the spread of COVID-19 within the population, and help alleviate anxiety associated with COVID-19 pandemic. 

This survey is expected to take 20-25 minutes to complete and will close on 15 June, 2020.
