Biography

Tania Sultana is a skilled academic with over 13 years of teaching experience. She is currently pursuing her PhD from the Research School of Population Health, Australian National University, and also works as a faculty member at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

Tania's research focuses on healthcare service utilization and health behaviour, with a particular interest in people with disabilities in Bangladesh. She recognizes the impact of various factors such as gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, race, ethnicity, and economic circumstances, and investigates how these factors influence the experiences of individuals with disabilities.

Tania has a strong academic background, having completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics in Bangladesh. Her MPhil degree explored the effects of trade liberalization on agriculture in her home country.

Tania has published extensively on healthcare utilization in Bangladesh, demonstrating her expertise and commitment to addressing important issues. She is an active member of the Bangladesh Economic Association and contributes to creating a more inclusive healthcare landscape for people with disabilities.
